Re: JaydeMoon DMA Platform & Q&A
danielmn crack squad of leet testers? I believe that testing would be under the purview of the Tech Admin. That said, yes, I think that anything implemented would be so under the condition that it be removed if it turns out that it breaks ALFA. However, I do not believe it should be removed it it t...

Re: Curmudgeon's DMA Questions
Do you honestly believe that, Swift? That each method of administration is run entirely in a vacuum? You're smarter than that! However, I had thought, mistakenly it appears, that the avatar muling thing was an ALFA restriction. That may not be the case. I'm pretty sure that Mirabai operated under th...

Re: JaydeMoon DMA Platform & Q&A
Oh. Looks like I mostly understood it. I may have added more specific functionality in my imagination version that is probably far too onerous to make real (If PC = Persephone, change spawns to death). Yes, this is good and can create a more dynamic feel for the server. PADMs would not be able to do...

Re: Curmudgeon's DMA Questions
Curm, it seems like there are a few rather unnecessary restrictions you place on DMs. Obviously whether they are unnecessary is my own opinion, but can you explain why you have disallowed muling of items by fully qualified DMs? If they are fully qualified, ie are past the PADM stage, should they not...

Re: Issue with Knockdown.
Knocking people down requires quite a bit of energy, and different people are better able to leverage themselves to avoid being knocked down. That is to say, they are harder to knock down, so you have to try harder. More exertion means longer cool down period.

Re: Player focused Northdark Content
Doesn't account for slaves. How about making Elves KOS in Drow Cities, and dwarves KOS in duergar cities, with perhaps a check for a token of some kind (or spell effect?) to allow a way around this.

Re: JaydeMoon DMA Platform & Q&A
Zelknolf I don't think that anyone can question whether you're productive when active (because you're prolific), but I have observed patterns of gaining a great deal of interest in ALFA and being that prolific writer, player, DM, or whatever, and then seeming to lose interest for some weeks after. ...

Re: JaydeMoon DMA Platform & Q&A
Sandermann How much say and control do you think a HDM should have over his or her server in terms of what content goes into that server, what rules his or her ADMs must follow and generally how that server develops? How much power the server do you think a HDM should have? I think that ALFA is hea...

Re: JaydeMoon DMA Platform & Q&A
NESchampion Would you be in favor of or opposed to instituting a general time frame for Standards to make recommendations to the DMA for consideration on wealth and pricing guideline issues in new proposals? Obviously exceptions can and will occur, but something in the way of a two-week period to p...
