Early basemod (ABR doors) and NWN v1.04?
Has anyone had compatibility problems with these? I hadn't tried them until after I updated, so it's quite possible I have some mod corruption or something else going on, but I figured I'd ask.
Basically, once I add a campaign with the ABR doors, and associate the module with that campaign, I can't open it anymore in the DM client or standalone server. Adding the hak, and/or importing the acf.erf don't seem to help. They still open in the toolset fine, but when I "save as" to different names (not assiciated with a campaign) they have the same problems.
In nwn2server: Goes from "Module Loading" to "Idle, Login Disabled"
In the DM client: Begins to load the campaign, then drops back to "Server Found, attempting to log in" indefinitely. Occationally I get an error screen in the load process, something about memory management or the like.
My working module is about 150 megs, my system is an AMD 4200X2 with 2 gigs of ram, XP-SP2.
For now, I've exported my ABR items to an earlier mod version for testing, so it's not a show-stopper, but I'm wondering if it's something others have dealt with- Castano at least said he hasn't had any problems.

I'm referring to the resourced linked in this thread:
http://www.alandfaraway.org/phpbbforum/ ... hp?t=33519
It's just in another of the NWN2 Base Module forums, if it's not accessible to you, then we need to review the permissions somewhere. It was/is also easy to overlook, I didn't spot it there until this weekend.
It's really just ABR doors, plus some of the 2das and such Ronan had been working on, posted quite a while ago. I was trying it out as I'd heard reports of the ABR doors not working, though I'd try to suss the problem.
I seem to recall Ronan saying the updates were changing positions in the 2das, frustrating his early work in this regard.

Did a bit more testing with this issue last night, it would seem the ahp1.0 isn't causing the instablility in and of itself, but rather the importing of the acf.erf, as far as I can tell. Not sure why a script package would prevent a mod from loading, but that seems to be the symptom I'm experiencing.
Haven't explored the early hak for new item properties or options to change pricing yet, might do tonight (as well as see if one or more script in particular is responsible for the destabilization in my hands).

I haven't yet investigated the doors issue, but I intend to sometime this week so I'll let you know if I experience any technical difficulties with the package.
BTW, I've been populating the wiki with technical information about NWN2, in particular, the 2DAs. Since you're neck deep in tech stuff yourself AL feel free to add to what's up there as you work on various aspects of NWN. A troubleshooting article might be worthwhile once/if you figure out what's destablizing your game.

No problems here either. Checked things out last night.
FYI, I corrupted my mod at one point back when I was fiddling with local variables on doors. I remember getting some sort of exception, which didn't seem to affect anything, but then when I saved the mod and closed it, I couldn't open it again. I also noticed the mod size was ~1/10th what it should have been, so that tipped me off that something had gone horribly wrong.

Sounds like a different issue than mine, maybe there is something to the order of addition (hak, erf, campaign).
In my case, it still opens fine in the toolset, but you can't log into it with player or DM clients, and nwn2server goes to "idle, login disabled" when I load it. Would have been only toolset open while working on it.
I haven't had a chance to tinker with this more, and am trying to get out the door for the long weekend here, so I'll see about reprising my efforts on mon night or tuesday.
