I have the same problem Dergon does..rubber banding..click..get halfwsay there, jump back finish the walk. I have this now on a Laptop with a 3 core cpu and Radeon 5830 Graphics card..better than many desktops..I usede to get the same problem on TSM with my desktop with a 4 core CPU and a NVIDIA 8800GT graphics card..On TSM they ciut back a lot of exteriors and it cured the problem..My Laptop in general has had problems with NwN2..not just lag so I don't know it it's the best standard..Though on Exodus..when not freezing up and shutting down..Lag has not been an issue.

ok hopefully the new skaug build can serve as our test grounds, as it is down to 20x20 I believe. If it eliminates the issue we will move forward with reductions of other problem areas...

IIRC the Scraef (undercity) on Exodus was something like 12x20 and that was about pushing it to the limit for a high density BUA with several thousand plonks. (I had to cut it in half from the original build size of 20x20; shame the [better looking] other half never got completed.) It ran fine on a mid spec. machine two years ago (2GB 2GHz single core w/ 8800GT). Trid probably remembers setting up the stores and peds on that one.
