I played some original NWN but not a lot of NWN2 yet -- and I haven't played any D&D more recent than 3rd edition -- so this is probably going to take some getting used to (and a few quick character deaths). See you ingame!

Hello hello! Welcome aboard, and good luck with your second character!
If you're having trouble with NWN 2 or D&D 3.5, just post a question in the forum or on IRC. Not that we'd have any useful answers, mind you. It's just that we feel less stupid ourselves then.

Welcome aboard. And I'll second what's already been said - the only dumb question is the one you don't ask.

Still it's been pretty fun, my current PC is Zveni Ruye, let's see how long she stays alive...

Haha, you seemed to be doing well enough a few days ago. I've lost two characters already. You met Andus my first but if you see me in game I'll be Jamice Hawklight.

Survival Inventory
at least 3 Cure light wounds potions for a Lvl1-2
Potion of Invis for emergencies
A shield to carry around if you can use one, even if you don't use it in combat. If you need to flee a mob that has ranged attacks, equip it, the few extra AC could save your arse.
have everything ready to go in quickbar
Most important
extreme caution, though not as dangerous as the NWN1 servers, the build team seems to be rectifying the situation rapidly.
don't run (into a brown bear for example). Walking allows you to see the threat before it sees you. Mostly.

THis also serves one well in the transportation of bodies after a fight. Simply roll body onto shield, and drag!ElCadaver wrote:Survival Inventory
