A Land Far Away

Firstly, hello everyone, pretty sure I don't need to introduce myself.

I'm looking forward to running 010 and building on the fantastic work of my predecessor, but there will be some changes cmoing in as soon as I can get them implemented.

My first aim is to bring the server closer to canon, this will involve a restructuring of existing areas and the addition of new ones, restructuring of NPCs and spawns to better represent the inhabitants of the sword coast and a change in feel, moving away from the sword coast represented in the Baldurs Gate series of games towards the sword coast presented in the FRCS and fleshed out in Volo's guides.

Behind the scenes, there will be streamlining of the DM creator and chooser to make it easier to navigate and hopefully decrease the level of stress that DMing on BG currently has.

This can't happen over night though, changes will be coming in bit by bit over the next few weeks.

If anyone has spotted something in game that doesnt fit, or seems odd and out of place, then please let me know and I can add it to the list.

This has to be the best server I have been a part of. I'm sorry I missed basically all of Dans reign, but just when you think there can't be many more good people around, another creative and talented person shows up. Bravo!

Effusive thanks for all you've done, DMN...and over-flowing thanks for all you will do, Sand. We as a community a incredibly fortunate to have so many willing to do so much for the enjoyment of us all.
