It's an informal ALFA poll about how many hours a week you play. The world isn't going to spin off its axis if it's not 100% accurate, don't worry.Voersaa wrote:I voted 60+ and I hope it wont screw up any stats since I'm not active anymore.
How much do you play in a week?

Which is pretty BS considering before janurary, i spent about the same amount of time on the forum as a i do now, while playing 30+ hours a week.LBaeldeth wrote:and as has been pointed out, people who use the forum frequently do so more often than they play the game.
Yes the numbers will be slightly skewed in favor of those that visit the forum, but to say a poll with 106 reponses is too inaccurate to extrapolate out to cover the whole of ALFA which likely has about 200 active players is a bit rich.

Yes, you got me there.LBaeldeth wrote:As I recall, 0 is less than 10.
However, it would be interesting to find out how many of those "less than 10 hours" players are "0 hour players".
The challenge then would be how to attract them back... I am guessing that's why this poll is being done: how to attract back the infrequent player.
Or is this just another "Let's have a poll for the sake of having one" type poll?

What, you want evidence and specific figures? Man, talk about a tough crowd.
I'm afraid we're all out of those. I can offer rhetoric and bored rantings. but that's about it. We get a shipment of evidence on Tuesday, and the specific figures were supposed to be delivered today, but ... *shrug*

Its actually a "I believe <insert viewpoint here>" and someone else saying "I believe <said viewpoint> is wrong" which was replied to with "Ill run a poll and show you" poll.McKennasDad wrote:The challenge then would be how to attract them back... LOL i put 30-40 hours which is probably accurate for me. Recently some of that time has been DMing so it might go down. I spent about 6 hours last night on the OAS DMing a horde of people. I slept well afterwards.
We should get paid for this i reckon,
It's funny to jump to the last page of the poll and see that it has as usual degenerated into fixation with how accurate or viable the figures are and the usual bickering over the sensiblity of it all.
It's a laugh. People exaggerate or play it down anyways, the figures are bound to be way of for sure. I can tell you i see a lot more people on that play more than me. They are too busy playing to vote.

Of the 168 hours in a week available to you, you spent 107 hours on ALFA? That's spending almost two-thirds of your week playing a game.ravin wrote:i've loged over 107 hours this week.sick...but i'm rather proud of myself
And you're proud of that?
That is sad, I'm sorry to say.
