Hey Burt, long time no chat. Heero asked me to cyber-stalk Vixi for you. At first, I was reluctant, but Heero made me laugh, so I agreed and passed on the message. It was something really deep and complicated, like "Burt says hi" or something like that.

In other news, I actually played TWO characters last night ... not simultaneously as is now allowed, but sequentially. Why, you ask? Because from the time I appeared on the dock in Baldur's Gate to the time I almost made it off the dock before dying, was about .. a minute. Stoopid interface. I'm still not sure how I did it (it was not intentional) but apparently I tried to pick-pocket "Captain Luigi Vampa" or something like that, and then he attacked me .. as did the other guy on the dock ... as did a horse. A horse? Really? So they knock me down to like -6 where the script stop the damage and a message comes up that Captain Kick-my-ass has "lost interest" .. too bad the horse didn't. That stoopid horse kicked me to death apparently.

So, I made a new character, and THIS time I appeared somewhere else. So there. Hmmph.

Good times.

Sounds about right. A good thing there weren't any chickens on the docks...:D

awesome. Mik, be aware that in nwn2, accidentally or purposefully hostiling a non-hostile NPC is liekly to result in the entire area going hostile. This is a feature of NWN :)

It's actually a bug due to our faction table. We brought that into ACR, and can get that fixed. Eventually.

Number 1 on the list of things I could have known YESTERDAY. Sheesh. People. Can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em in the head. 'Cause you'll get killed by a horse. And maybe the chicken of endor....

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Ha! Good fun!

Swift:
Skull rock is still outside Rivermoot, carrying the names of fallen (when they are reported).
That is very cool, thanks for letting me know. Starting that memorial rock was probably the most lasting thing I did while RPing on a surface server. I am glad its still around.

When ALFAs NWN2 went live our world revolved around Rivermoot, and there were so, so many interesting characters ... and we saw so, so many of them die. For me, it felt weird seeing them come ago, a bit like people do in the service, so I (Vellya) started the rock to remember all the interesting characters I met along the way, and there were a lot of them.

Anyway, I am glad the rock is still around.
