Assassin class?

Does the assassin class on ALFA have any spells, if not should the class be strengthening to make up for this? Also does the class gain the low-light vision feat? Ok thanks for you time.
Although the in-game spell description lists Assassins as having this spell at 1st level, NWN2 does not implement a spell list for this prestige class and as such it is assumed this is a mistake in the dialog.tlk
Assassin Spell List
Assassins choose their spells from the following list:
1st Level
disguise self, detect poison, feather fall, ghost sound, jump, obscuring mist, sleep, true strike.
2nd Level
alter self, cat’s grace, darkness, fox’s cunning, illusory script, invisibility, pass without trace, spider climb, undetectable alignment.
3rd Level
deep slumber, deeper darkness, false life, magic circle against good, misdirection, nondetection.
4th Level
clairaudience/clairvoyance, dimension door, freedom of movement, glibness, greater invisibility, locate creature, modify memory, poison.

Is anyone actually playing an assassin?
Because if not, it's kinda a hard sell to get the actual work done. Rewriting a PrC on the suspicion of use-- that's often a waste.

Does this mean we are not implementing Loremaster? Say it ain't so!
As for assassin, I believe I've been on another PW who has already reworked that PrC so they get the appropriate spells per level.

the decision of new PRCs is Curms to make, so till he says one way or another, no works been done. Assuming Curm gives the okay, then yes they'll go in (because PRCs is something I like to work on)
as far as assassin goes, actually yes there is one pc on their way to it, so perhaps rather than simply naysaying Zelk, it's worth considering the options?
but hey ho, what do I know?

If anyone was playing an assassin would they admit to it on a public forum?

Oh, I thought someone was looking for courses on how to be an assassin.

I suppose the first step would be me remembering which community it was.

I am unaware of any actual development for Loremaster. There could be 20,000 "We're doing this!" threads in standards with the DMA saying "Yes, you guys can do this" at the end. They're all meaningless until someone with the time, will, and ability says "Yeah, alright. I'll make that."
I ask if anyone actually has the PrC because "working on getting it" turns into "you've wasted development time" in the time it takes for an ogre with a greataxe to roll a 20 or for that would-be rgr/rog/assassin to discover that his mark has hold person. (what's your will save? -1? Ouch... ) Easier to be motivated by "someone would use this
right now if you made it."

Thats a vicious cycle though, players hold off aiming for it until it is made properly, while it never gets made properly because no players are playing it.

Unless it's just a question of priority.
ie, fix the stuff we do have people playing before we worry about the stuff people aren't.

as it was (and still is) me that'll be working on PRCs, I don't see what the problem is anyway. I'm not working on other stuff, and Zelk has her own stuff to do.
But as I said, I know of at least one player thats on course to enter the Assassin PRC, so if it isn't set up right, it wouldn't be a bad idea to fix it.
once I actually have a computer again, I'll probably take a look.

If the player of an assassin refuses to take levels of assassin because she/he doesn't believe it to be
powerful enough, I think there are larger problems than the structure of the class at play. The choosing of build that is counter to RP for the sake of mechanical advantage is, after all, our definition of power gaming.

Well when i get to that point i plan on taking assassin level anyway, so i dont think it would be power gaming. Anyways i sent a pm to Curmudgeon hopefull he can give us an answer.

And I say that if you get it and approved changes for that level aren't yet in, I'll make them!
Done and done. *dusts hands off*
