Thus irrevocably damaging the German economy, or something. If you wonder what ALFA is using money for, well - most hosting and website stuff isn't entirely free. For our infrastructure to have some wiggle room is always a good idea, and the generosity of its members has facilitated ALFA's running for a long time now. But, this time, there's another bonus on top. We have so far been rather unsuccessful in enticing new donours. Which is a shame really - you should start the habit, enjoy the health benefits and free check-ups. And simply get a chance to feel really good about yourself .
