A new song debuts in taverns around Waterdeep...

*A lithe figure dressed all in black with shiny black hair and wearing a entertainers mask, can be heard singing in the common taverns around Waterdeep. She sings her songs and then quickly disappears into the night. When asked for her name she responds with "Midnight".

Answers lost in lore and dust.
Mage holds power, wants to control
Dragon of steel, who protects the whole.

Does She draw them, or protect the City,
When wyrms come near for havoc and plunder?
Is She noble defender or a selfish biddy . . . .?
Would suffer the city... were she to go under?

City dragon, should watch Her rear,
The Mage of Dragons does pursue.
A price that was paid for a friend dear,
May be Her undoing when all is through.

The Black to the south would embrace her with vigor
Squeeze all her secrets 'fore he causes her rigor.
Compelling the aid of some, for their fear
To bring her to ground . . in to his grip's sphere.

When She destroyed Nabalynth and the cult,
Was it for you or me, or Herself, twas it done?
Or is She truely a protector who gets a result,
And has angered the Mage who wants her to run?

Dragon of the City best find your own allies,
The Mage, he is gathering to many eyes.
To find where you hide and in what guise
Is the tale He tells, truth or more lies?
