Just a warning about the potential catastrophic consequences of playing with dragons. Not all towns and cities are covered by a dragon ward. Several thousand people living in the Delimbyr Valley are vulnerable, including the lives of several PCs Dragons have lots of gold for contract hits hehe
Also, news reaches Waterdeep of a devastating explosion at Dragon Spear and a very large wurm emerging.

"Playing with dragons"
I have taken a poll and, with the possible exception of OGR, who is known to be bat-shit crazy, none of us have chosen to play with dragons. We have had dragons forced upon us, whether it be Dweebervores, Black Dragons that toy with us like a cat with mice or some mysterious Wyrm of Many Spells that I am sure mocks us from the shadows. And now we have some dragon that makes the very earth quake when it bursts forth.
Nope. None of us have chosen to play with these dragons. They are placed in our way by evil DMs who know full well that we would rather play with +5 Flaming Swords and wands of Time Stop.
Truth.

You're all chickenshit. Bring on the dragons and their second rate assassins! Villagers be damned.
*starts thinking about his next PC*
Seriously though, I love this plot. Keep it up Rick and Ayergo.
