Nothing has changed with that and it was working for me last night, maybe you were too far away during the fight or there was a summon out?
Jack, Arryn, Keryn and Zylai'a were standing together on the cliff overlooking the lizardmen island west of the city wall. They were shooting at foes as they appeared in range. Keryn did send out several summons. However, the script clearly showed which PC killed the foe and that player got the XP.
Tested this with Dergon and ISA and myself, seems to be fixed now.
We were up there again yesterday (Wayfarer, Alora, Arryn)

I *think* the issue is that because of the croc stealth some PCs lose visuals on them. If it is killed while the PC doesn't have visual then that PC doesn't seem to get XP
That's an interesting theory. Lets test it out when I catch you next.
Sounds good!

But is it a bug or a feature? I mean..... your buddy kills something you can't even see, should you get XP?
Absolutely you should!

The combat portion of the XP is an award for participating in a challenge, not for the "kill".

Anything that we can do to rebalance away from equating experience with killing is a good thing for an RP based community.

When I equip and use my reins for my horse I get an error that says ‘chest is too far away.’

I'm not sure if it's a bug or intended, but the saltwater crocodiles offer up many attacks of opportunity on them in melee. I eyeballed the combat log to see what they might be doing to grant me the AOO on them (Are they trying to cast a spell? ;) ), but I couldn't spot anything. Made me curious though!

Cheers, Peter

A knockdown attack maybe? Or maybe a unarmed attack?

Most critter in D&D that bite or claw have implied feats to avoid AoO. My guess is that the template is built on some non-critter platform so that the crocks would neat a feat in order to not provoke AoO.

Either I'm using the trapkit table incorrectly, or the script isn't seeing that I have a potion of fire-breath in my inventory. I'm not sure which. :D

We'll test it out when I catch you next in game!
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years

Just now tried to log into Waterdeep and could not (I did not do anything between last night's session and just now, FYI, meaning this was the first time I had tried to log in since I logged in around 8PM US EST and logged out around midnight).

Error message:
Invalid Character - Player login refused.
character has an invalid feat
I tried to login to DF and was successful (sent to Quarantine, of course).

Retried logging into WD again and once again:
Invalid Character - Player login refused.
character has an invalid feat
You have cursed Murgen, Ayergo! :D

(I will not be around until this afternoon, after midnight your time, so I won't be able to give any feedback if you need it.)
Retired NWN1: Murgen Kjarnisteinn (AKA Grumpy Scout)

NWN2 (Failed Experiment): Muir Cheartach, AKA The Pale Faced Pie Man

R.I.P.: Croaker Lyosbarr, Knight of Yartar, Lord of Lhuvenhead (NWN1)

I reached out to Ayergo and he may have misclicked an option while uploading the server last. I am told WD should be up and running in 15 mins or so.
