Alright, so there be phat loot in them thar catacombs. It would be a shame to leave all that loot our loving DMs set out just sit there. Anyone else feeling foolish enough to try this one evening this week?
I'd prefer not to do the same thing two Fridays in a row. Now that we know exactly where we're going and what we're prepping for, it might be a bit simpler. Or we might all die.

Are these the catacombs that have unlimited fireballs to pick up?

I shall gladly assist all you poor, greedy bastards who haven't found Ilmater's light.

The place was not cleared.
Phat lewts usually appears at the "end".
Plus be a shame if not everyone who was there last time, did not get a chance to go back. I felt that sting a million times before.
So if that dungeon is the plan this weekend, I hope Toliv can go too.

For me to participate during a weekday , other than Friday, it would have to END by 9pm eastern (8:30pm would be preferable). And I've got a PnP game Thursday.
I don't mind if it's next Friday.
Or if you don't wait up.
Bran would propose something a little crazy : using water walking (which works on any liquid, the users hovering a few inches above said liquid) to cross directly to the other side.

What about just having someone throw the dwarves over the gaps?

"Don't tell the elf!"
Water walking over Lava, that's............nutbar. No thanks!
Pretty sure you still touch the surface of the liquid? Could be wrong... regardless, you'd have to be close enough that by the time you took 2 steps, your feet are gone. Then it works on your shins, knees, thighs and then? Hell no. (ouch)
Buff up - RUN for it. Don't stop. Lots of Fire Protection, etc. Hellz we almost made it last time. Toliv also had no spells at all left over when we reached that hell room... next time it's DIRE bear city - shreddin'

I'll try and get the firestag beetles sorted so the black screen problem is fixed.

Heat damage for a few seconds of crossing should honestly be minimal...
I'm all for arcane spells, but that's not available to Bran : jump, fly, spider-walk, etc.

Murgen overhears the conversation (there are no secrets in the SafeHaven, afterall) and says, "Wul, Ima not sayin I know much 'bout yer finger waving but yer spellin mebbe work fine fer them ya ken cast on, but 'ow many time yer able tae cast? Why nae buy some o them 'bestos cloaks an stiffen 'em wi tha ten foot poles all 'venturers allays carry? Ya sew 'em cross an lengthwise tae gi 'em some s'port an thenss yae ken walk 'cross?"
"Jes 'ave a care yae dunna fall in," he continues with a laugh.
((At work and I can't remember how much the cloaks cost ... which could obviously make this prohibitively expensive.))
