I think my personal plan is to drive up Friday, Dan were you going to come up Friday morning or Thursday evening? You're come to stay overnight, I have a spare bed. I'm taking the whole of Friday off so can plan to be there whenever. It's a 3 hourish drive I think?

On another important note- food and drink. I have 2 growlers (refillable 2L beer bottles for those who don't know) that I intend to bring. i can fill them before I leave this beer rich area or when I'm there. Are there breweries around? Are we bring food or all making a Not Weird At All Joint Trip to a supermarket? i'll make sure I bring cash to reimburse and pay my share as necessary. Plus some ones to stuff in Riot's corset.

So. My parents need me Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon for help with the new house they purchased for my wife and I. Which means I will be unable to attend, and I can't really wiggle out of it considering how big a thing it is they did for me.

OK folks;

In traditional Riotnrrd fashion I shall be 'winging it'. I am arriving TOMORROW NIGHT in BWI, and will be chilling with a friend on Thursday night. Friday morning I can be back at BWI or anywhere public transportation will take me, at any given time.

I will need transport to wherever the campground is. I think Heero volunteered to drive me, or anyone else who might be passing through.

*edit* aha! transportation arranged! Heero will be picking me up on Friday at the airport, and then to the spot. Sunday he will carriage me back to BWI, or should I be terribly hungover, someone else can schlepp my ass later flight out from BWI 5PM on Sunday.

Also Maxcell: I once went to an ALFA con with 27 dollars. I hitched a ride with some other folks, slept on a couch in the hotel until I got kicked out, drunk, to wander the streets of Charlotte before dawn. I conned a bed in someone's room the second night.

Our intrepid traveler continues his journey through airports of Charlotte and Baltimore, and takes a train ride an hour north of this strange city, wherein he meets an old friend for sushi, whisky, and cigars, followed by a lumpy bed and lots of sneezing. He now sits, woefully without coffee, on the porch of a house built by freed slaves in the 1860s.

Later today, he will make the company of Heero. Let's hope the real life adventures of Heero are less lethal than those in ALFA!

Danielmn arrived safely in Charlottesville yesterday; made a trip out to Blue Mountain Brewery with Loulabelle yesterday evening, at which many tasty brews were sampled.
