Indeed, welcome back! If you've been gone that is ... I've been gone, so I don't know who is just coming back and who has been here the whole time, so I am just jumping on the welcome back band wagon that Galadorn's posted. :)

They should cement movie attendance by signing a well known actor to play the heavy, I am thinking Jeremy Irons should fit the bill. Also they should be sure to lighten the mood from time to time with some comedy relief. Also they should try to include at least one actor of color, to represent all potential moviegoers. I would think one of the Wayans brothers would suffice in both cases.

Yes Jeremy Irons is a brilliant idea!!!! Personally I think they should talk about politics. Since that's the real horror of DnD.

watch below if you don't believe.

A movie with Tom Hanks in it that's the solution. He could play a college student maybe a sequel of Larry Crowne, but in this movie he gets too involved into role-playing a game say....hmm. Tunnels and Trol...Nah Mazes and Monsters!

My thought was why not just use the 1980s cartoon? It is completely engaging for all audiences and something Hollywood can't mess up.

Five teenaged kids, wide racial/demographic span, a unicorn for the bronies, and a guy who plays like yoda.

The bad guy is super scary and there is a dragon involved at times.

Plus there is that real world/ stranger in a strange world thing going on, people eat that up.

Don't lay down challenges. Hollywood is consistently good at hitting new lows.

I think J.J. Abrams should direct this.
