With the slam of a door, a young man enters the Daggerford Inn. He pauses a moment eyeing Mathias and others that are gathered about.

Marching purposefully up to the stage, he looks about the room with a fire and hatred burning deep within his sharp eyes... anger in his mind and great sorrow in his heart, he spits to the ground and wipes his eyes before singing... his voice a grating steel and his eyes dark with promise he yells out:

In the mist there lies a monster,
In the fog, a dwarf he does wait,
For he who brought end, upon my dear friend,
The dwarf is hell, and I am the gate!

So now I raise voice to meet you,
I call out so that you might hear,
To that damn Fool who slew, the dwarf I once knew,
You rightly tremble and shake with great fear!

For he's returned and aye, still quite able,
And he is searching for you in the mist,
'Cause of you lost his god, to that blight of a fog,
And now he is mighty well pissed!

Aye, death is waiting for you-dog,
Shug Hammerfell he waits in the gloom,
You'll have no disguise, to his keen vengeful eyes,
His mighty axe, your salvation and doom!

So run you most cowardly bandit,
Try and hide, where'er you may,
For the monster he's coming, the end note 'tis strumming,
And I have a death tune to play!
