I was creating a bunch of books to be sold in neverwinter, with descriptions like " a tale of a great battle" " a love story" etc, rather bland and boring. Then I thought why not use some of the great IC fiction that has been made by you creative bunch of people.
So I got some of the stuff that was in the Herald and made them into books. You see neverwinter is the the city of "skilled hand and minds" so I thought it would be a great place to feature creative things that people have made, there is a whole street of bookbinders that specialize in various differnt types of books. Also some of the Bard songs seem like they would make great books too.
I also would like to set up a player run shop that would be run by a bard or poet that could be like the player hall of fame but totally IC that would sell tales of adventures, deaths and etc of great real player characters that have. The bard might travel to other servers or whatever and witness things then come back to neverwinter and make a book about it and sell it. ( they could make the book item and erf it to me or just post it to a forum and I would make them up. ) If anyone is interested or has a character the would be suited for this let me know.
