Zelazadda Rivenstone's Journal - The Long Road

Post by starrynight33 »

*Zel sits down at a table in her room at Mabel's Inn, her hair in curlers and wearing fluffy mules and a fur trimmed bed gown. She writes in neat, careful lettering*
Day One:
My journey from the Dalelands was long and dangerous but finally I have arrived at Triboar. And what a welcome I received at this city! Some fetid, wretched woman attempted to rob me! I asked her for directions to a decent clothing store to replace my rather tattered garments. She led me to the western outskirts of the city and then pulled a weapon on me when I voiced my suspicions about where we were going. I immediately summoned a beast and fled back to town. Good grief where have a brought myself to!?
I did however, meet a charming young woman called Azaria. A priestess of Chauntea. What a delightful girl! And such a pretty lass. If only she would wear a dress, comb her hair and wear makeup. *pauses and sighs* She would have young suitors flocking to her in droves. Such a shame her loveliness is going to waste. I showed her how to apply makeup and promised to help her find a nice young man. And thank Mystra I finally found a woman in town who sold decent clothing. I bought two gowns and a rather nice pair of gloves and fan. I feel civilised again. I havent been able to track down the wizard who is seeking an apprentice yet. I am still making inquiries.

*she sighs, puts down her pen. Checks her curlers are in place and retires*

Day two

Post by starrynight33 »

*Zel sits sipping some wine and picks up her pen to write, once again her hair in curlers and wearing her evening wear*
Day Two:
I met the legendary wayfarers. . . . as far as I can see they are vulgar group of adolescent boys playing at warriors. Rude little ruffians. One spoke to me like I was a criminal! The cheek! His name was Joe or somesuch thing. He slinks about like a greased ferret! I shall have to watch him. There was a gnome with them. He seemed quit respectable, notwithstanding the company he keeps. And some priest of Tempus, Akabilk or something, propositioned me! I was beyond shock! I made an innocent inquiry about whether he had a sweetheart. . for the sake of dear Azaria and he made THE most vulgar insinuation about doing naughty things with me! *snaps open her elegant fan and fans herself dramatically as she flushes red*
Then there was their other companion . . . Marcus or somesuch thing. He need a jolly good bath that one! He blamed his unfortunate condition on some potion he had drunk. I think I know the one he means .. . its called "Polymorph into Hobo" potion. They did however, confirm there was a wizard seeking apprentices to the South. A woman called Raila apparently. I shall have to travel there. Although I shall need some help. I did try to deliver a document along the west road and was attacked! This place is dangerous. I wish I could find Azaria.

*pats her hair into place and applies a thick mud pack to her face before retiring to bed*

Edited and corrected: Thanks :)

*cough* There is nobody, I repeat, nobody on TLR with those names.

(They only ever refer to themselves as Joe and Marcus respectively IC ;) , it's a lot easier to refer to them as their aliases OOC as well.)
Current PCs:
NWN1: Soppi Widenbottle, High Priestess of Yondalla.
NWN2: Gruuhilda, Tree Hugging Half-Orc
