sung recently at the Safehaven for a large crowd

COLD VENGEANCE

FALLEN COMRADES GOT YOU HOT
VENGEANCE WANTING TO BE GOT
LOSING FOCUS, LOSING SENSE
DRIVING FORWARD SO INTENSE . .

INTO DANGER, RUSHING HEADLONG
SHOULD FALLBACK BUT ARE TOO HEADSTRONG,
WANT TO KILL, WANT RETRIBUTION
BUT SLAUGHTERING IS NO SOLUTION. . . .

IF YOUR NOT SMART, IF YOUR NOT FAST
THAT TREK, BELOW, MAY BE YOUR LAST . . .
DOWN ON THE FLOOR, GROWING COLD ...
RATHER BE IN THE SUN, GETTING OLD . . .

VENGEANCE IS BEST, WHEN SERVED UP COLD
FIRST PLOT AND PLAN AND THEN GO BOLD,
YOU CAN SNEAK AND STAB THEM IN THE BACK
OR STEP UP CLOSE AND GIVE THEM A THWACK.

SO LISTEN FRIENDS AND KNOW ITS TRUE
IF YOU DON'T PLAN OR HAVE A CLUE,
THEN STAY AWAY FROM THE ENEMIES HOME
LEST THE PUT YOU AWAY IN A CATACOMB.

Something Marisha has started playing around the town.

THE COMPANY

Demons got you running
Imps in your hair
call upon the Company to
to send them all elsewhere.

Keryn she is the elven mage
who is striking, true and fair
when she isn't selling merchandise,
She is zapping demons from the air.

Arryn he is a morning waker
who is full of joy and love
until some thing is a challenge . .then
He must smash it with his club.

Jack he is a ships captain
who is loyal and a tease,
When he's not bedding lasses
He is slashing goblins up with ease.

Bran he is a dawnlord
who is steadfast, true and brave,
When he's not brewing something up
He is sending undead back to their grave.

Kalo he is the pensive one
who is trusty, bold but stoic
When he's not drinking in the docks
He is up to things heroic

So if you have some troubles
that need tending to
Call upon the Company to
deal with them for you!

"The Company" has such a nice ring to it. Awesome to have this new player faction take life. Kudos to T for getting the ball rolling on this.

Bravissima!

Thank you Ari, that’s just awesome. Keryn might commission a couple more pieces for the fallen company members.

And thanks to ayergo for giving the company a home!

BLUE ALLEY
by Marisha

In Waterdeep, down Ivory Street
Is a beckoning alley, tiled in blue
Every barkeep knows, this woesome place,
for it holds traps and dangers a few .

Those that go in, seldom come out
but those that come out are now wealthier.
But richer in experience or coin is the question,
for invariably them, that return are unhealthier.

Twistbeard created, that mad . . insane maze,
filled it with traps, and constructs galore,
To amuse himself and friends of the outcome
Those foolish enough, to enter the door.

If He still watches is a factor unknown,
A wager perhaps, placed on your failure,
or maybe one on how quick you die to a trap,
as you run away from his scaladur.....!

The dangers that lurk in the maze of Blue Alley,
are not for the faintheart or weak,
If you tread there be wary and quick
lest your future be short and bleak . . . .

Dawn's Child
Tribute to Arryn Temple

Full of childish antics and unbridled joy,
Barely a man, yet so much more
Lover, friend and stalwart warrior
Raised in the Light of the Dawnlord.

Protecting always, those He held dear.
While striving to prove within his soul,
Even when death was knocking near.
What others saw, firm in his hold.

You sought one to love and accept you,
Wanting to fill up the hole in your heart.
Your weapons became your best lovers,
Earning names and called your sweethearts.

You were the light to my shadow
Now you have faded away, out of sight
Are you somewhere watching dawn's glow?
Or wrapped up in it's joy and delight?

The pain you sought is at best, bittersweet,
Now left in the hearts of those still here.
Finally has met his last defeat,
Hero's Body lies cold upon his bier.

SUNSET SAILS
by Marisha Dervise
Tribute to Jackman Hull

CAPTAIN JACK HE WAS SO FINE
A SAILOR OF THE SALTY BRINE
HAD AT LEAST ONE GIRL IN EVERY PORT
SOME WERE TALL AND SOME WERE SHORT.

HE KISSED THEM ALL WITHOUT FORETHOUGHT
NOBLE DAUGHTERS OR WENCHES, ON THE SPOT
HE WARMED THEIR BEDS AND WOULD THEN DEPART
FOR NONE OF THEM COULD WIN HIS HEART.

BEHIND LEFT HE BABES, AS HIS LEGACY
SMALL PRODUCTS OF HIS LECHERY
FOREVER SHALL WE MOURN HIS LOSS
THE ENDLESS SEA HE NOW DOES CROSS.

BUT IN A FIGHT HE WAS STEADFAST
THERE HE FOUGHT AND BREATHED HIS LAST
AGAINST THE MENACE DEEP BELOW
STRUCK DOWN BY THE ORB OF WOE.

NOW UPON THE SUNSET SEA SO CALM,
A SAILOR STANDS WITHOUT A QUALM
POISED UPON THE MAIDEN'S HEAD
THRUSTING FORTH, ALWAYS AHEAD

THE GOLDEN COIN HAS SPUN ITS LAST
SAILS GATHERED ON THE MAST
THE MAIDENHEAD SAILS NO MORE
WITH HIM TO ANOTHER SHORE.
