With skin black as the blackest chocolate and eyes red as the red of a maraschino cherry offering stark contrast to the darkness of his skin, the figure emerged from the inn's oaken stairwell into a common abound with the clamor of a crowd composed of many a commoner. His hood pulled up, its upper edges drooping low over his brow, he made his way through the clamoring crowd of commoners towards the great bar centering the inn common as though it were an stalwart island offering sailor's safe harbor amidst swelling seas.

His hood pulled so low brought attention, but not near the attention as would be garnered had the hood been lowered. Undoubtedly any eyebrows raised were promptly lowered as onlookers turned their gaze from straining to see beneath the mask to the figure's less imposing features. Buttons straining under the burden of burgeoning man-boobs and a belt buckling at a bloated belly streesing it to near breaking, he was in need of larger sized clothing.

As he approached the bar, he greeted the gnome behind, "Vendui, jabbuk yingil, chocolate cake, please, as much as you have."

to be continued...

((OoC note: this story is NOT about my current PC))
