IC - For some reason the Ilmaterans consider the evidence we’ve uncovered so far heretical, even though it has become clear to us that the portals are being caused by the killing of an avatar of Ilmater himself by the city. We are attempting to find the source and neutralize it without bringing it to the attention of either the city of the temple.

OOC - I get that the gauntlets are good loot. If multiple people want them, perhaps those people could offer some of their share of the gold to the person that doesn’t get them? Perhaps a deal could be brokered with the aid of a DM to duplicate them? I’d rather see people enjoying playing together than people getting bent out of shape because of loot distribution. I don’t think there’s anyone who wants it to be unfair, it’s just a matter of perspective.

Yes, the information about the Ilmateri and the Spear I was not privy at all too. I really thought it was a solid item, and Ilmateri relic.

imStrokerAce: Dahvet knows the most about Toliv's situation, and would very much appreciate his help if we get time with a DM on to work on it. Not demanding any DM time, but something can be planned perhaps sometime to further Toliv's quest.

Thanks at least for showing some understanding... Just a bad bad day for Toliv (and Galad0rk). And it does reciprocate back to me since this is a game i'm playing too. I do NOT want to block Marisha from getting good gear, but it just didn't seem appropriate an item for some rather than others, and again, I hope she wears them in good health, I look forward to seeing here shoulder to shoulder on the front lines in melee combat with her new Strength! cuz if she got them to accomodate carrying capacity that would just seem silly? Is it only me? i dunno...call me crazy. I thought distribution was supposed to start with most appropriate/useful items go to most appropriate PCs, also based upon other possible loot that some automatically get. Toliv only got armor, that no one else can even wear, that didn't even help out his AC any, lol, not only that, it weighs 10 lbs. more than his other suit of armor, so it actually weighs him down even more! lol... I must be nuts continuing the discussion since all hands have decided. I truly don't want them anymore. They've been tainted.

I do hope with some negotiation, Toliv can find an enchanter to make him a pair someday soon, or a vendor somewhere might have them for sale? He'll look around again - it's possible.

Marisha has some of the gold, enough to give you your share as well 1307gp each was the final split

Can any of them bring that stuff down (Toliv would have left word with everyone he was heading to that region to pray at the Shrine of Solonor for a few weeks)?
...just checking, if not, I will walk back to WD and get it, not a problem.

And if there's anything being sold off for gold after the 1307 split, let me know, and if no one claims any of those straggling potions/scrolls left over, Toliv would take them too - better held for use later than sold (the potions and scrolls that is).

Crap. Just saw Wayfarer this morning and I could have given him his share. I think I owe others too. I collected 3400 gp, gave myself 1300, so 2100 left over for distribution.
