If your toon sees Murgen you may notice that he has unbraided his beard and is not wearing his rather distinctive cloak. Or your toon may not pay attention to that kind of thing.
With the braids out of his beard, it has gained a good 6 inches in length and about 3 inches in "bushiness". It is quite a contrast to the very fine and very numerous braids that used to make it up.

He obviously now has a girlfriend and she doesn’t want his beard looking prettier than hers.
