Re: Mod 4.0 Bug Thread
Last night in the sewers some Jellies were splitting when Kiir was punching and kicking them. I thought it might be that old monk glove bug so I switched to Nunchaku (bludgeoning damage only) and they were still splitting. Same was happening when Arryn hit them with Lucille.
Re: Mod 4.0 Bug Thread
How else you gonna get all those sweet sweet ichor unless they split tho???

Re: Mod 4.0 Bug Thread
FYI, my crafted scroll of Protection from Alignment failed because Angus failed the UMD check. I'll take a look at the code but I wanted to post something here as a reminder.
If the enemy is an ass and a fool and a rating
coxcomb, is it meet, think you, that we should also,
look you, be an ass and a fool and a prating
coxcomb? in your own conscience, now?
Former Characters:
(Silverymoon): Q’arq Olafstenza Fry
(Waterdeep/Daggerford): Angus Porter, Cleric of Torm (aka the Slipshod Sergeant)

I've reported that in the past. For some reason the UMD checks for scrolls are absurdly high. I tried a magic missile once and, if I recall correctly, the DC was 26 to cast it.Gaia_Nostra wrote:FYI, my crafted scroll of Protection from Alignment failed because Angus failed the UMD check. Current PC: Alora Tuffet-Hopper, foul-mouthed and irreverent bard and Meat, dwarven cleric who likes to punch himself in the face.

Yeah I haven't touched UMD yet but at some point I hope to sort it out.Akivaria wrote:I've reported that in the past. For some reason the UMD checks for scrolls are absurdly high. There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

This is a reference to Mod 5.3 on EE. I encountered a Dweeb. I used 3 Potions of Seeing during this encounter and I was never able to see him despite the fact he kept trying to steal things from me. He probably tried a dozen times. In the past, I use one potion and normally see the Dweeb before the potion duration expires. Never immediately.
"Having an adventure shows that someone is incompetent, that something has gone wrong. An adventure is interesting enough in retrospect, especially to the person who didn't have it; at the time it happens it usually constitutes an exceedingly disagreeable experience." Vilhjalmur Stefansson

They've been a lot more difficult for me to see lately as well. Maybe their H/MS was increased?

I haven't made any changes to the dweebs. Its possible EE handles hide and M/S a bit differently.Cleasor wrote:This is a reference to Mod 5.3 on EE. I encountered a Dweeb. If you Travel East from AREA 1V, the Area Transition skips over 1W and you arrive at the western edge of 1X.
The Center Road leading South from area 1W has no Area Transition.
